Club Provence Logistique is up and running: the logistics network gets off the ground

Established in December 2000 as an association, Club Provence Logistique brings together professional and institutional players in the logistics sector under the umbrella of the Marseille-Provence and Arles Region CCIs [Chambers of Commerce and Industry].

Chaired by Mr Jean-Pierre MARCORELLES, the Committee consists of:

- a vice-chairman, Mr Jean-Charles Hille (Arles Region CCI)
- a treasurer, Mr Philippe FOURNIER
- a secretary, Mr Eric Semerdjian (Provence Promotion)

The Club's head office is located at the Marseille-Provence CCI which provides the secretariat (Delegated Management for Transport/Logistics).

Objectives
 
The main objectives of Club Provence Logistique are as follows :

Promote, improve and develop the transport/logistics network,
Organize partner networking and supervise networking development initiatives.
Encourage cooperation between participants and provide the interfaces required.
Promote quality and skills within the network using the Provence Logistique label.

The membership of Club Provence Logistique is open to the network's businesses and institutional actors and also to regional authorities.

Three commissions have been set up :

> Employment/Training <
chaired by Mr Gilbert Ferrari (UMF)
and run by the Arles Region CCI,

> Promotion / Communication <
chaired by Mr Philippe Fournier (UNOSTRA Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur)
and run by Provence Promotion.

> Technological Monitoring <
chaired by Mrs Maryvonne Tirode-Bedel (ASLOG)
and run by the Marseille-Provence CCI.
